1. Basel, Switzerland – My Next Adventure!
I can’t even explain how excited I am to visit Basel this March with my girlfriends! We’ve been planning this trip for months, and the idea of exploring this beautiful Swiss city during spring makes it even more special. Basel is known for its stunning old town, charming medieval buildings, and, of course, the Rhine River that flows through the city.
One place I can’t wait to see is the Basel Minster, a gorgeous Gothic cathedral with a breathtaking view of the river. We’re also planning to visit the Kunstmuseum Basel, one of the oldest public art collections in the world—perfect for an art lover like me! And of course, I’m already dreaming about walking along the Rhine and stopping by cute cafés for some Swiss chocolate.
I’ll definitely be sharing more about my trip once I’m back, but I already know Basel will be unforgettable!
2. Lake Bled, Slovenia – A Hidden Gem of Tranquility
A few years ago, I had the chance to visit Lake Bled, and I instantly fell in love. If you’ve ever seen a postcard-perfect lake with a tiny island and a fairytale castle perched on a hill, that’s Bled. The nature here is absolutely breathtaking—crystal-clear water, lush green forests, and the most peaceful atmosphere.
One of the most popular attractions is taking a traditional pletna boat to Bled Island and ringing the wishing bell at the church. I hiked up to Ojstrica viewpoint, which gave me the most incredible panoramic view of the lake.
Spring is the best time to visit because everything is in full bloom, and it’s not too crowded yet. If you’re looking for a destination that feels like an escape into nature, Lake Bled is the place to go!
3. Florence, Italy – A Love Story with History and Architecture
Florence will always hold a special place in my heart. I visited during college, and it was one of those trips that made me completely fall in love with history, art, and architecture. Walking through the streets of Florence feels like stepping into a painting—the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria are just a few of the must-see spots.
Spring is the perfect time to visit because the city is warm but not overwhelmingly hot like in summer. Plus, you can stroll through the Boboli Gardens, which are absolutely stunning when everything is blooming. If you love Italian culture, history, and dreamy sunset views over the Arno River, Florence is a must-visit.
4. Hallstatt, Austria – A Fairytale in Every Season
I was lucky enough to visit Hallstatt in winter and let me tell you, it was magical—snow-covered rooftops, a frozen lake, and the most picturesque little village you can imagine. But after seeing all the spring photos, I can only imagine how breathtaking it must look when everything is green and blossoming!
Hallstatt is the kind of place that looks straight out of a storybook. The colorful houses reflecting on the lake, the charming little streets, and the surrounding mountains make it feel almost unreal. Spring brings out a whole different beauty, with wildflowers blooming and the lake sparkling under the sun.
If you’re looking for a peaceful escape where you can just wander, soak in the views, and take dreamy photos, Hallstatt in spring is an absolute dream.
5. Plitvice Lakes, Croatia – A Natural Wonderland in Spring
