Garnier is one of those brands that most people used at least once in their lives or at least heard about the brand. What you might not know is that Garnier is established in 1904. It was founded in France and since 1904 their range of products got bigger and bigger.
PACKAGING
Let's start with the packaging. Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay comes in a plastic tube with a click-on lid that closes the tube very tightly. This is a plus in my book as I can be sure that the lid won't open in my makeup bag or while traveling. The tube contains 150 ml of product, and the price is around $, depending on the store, and can be found at various discounts.
The gel is white and it contains blue grains. Blue grains are very small and won't damage your skin unless you rub it too hard. Those grains are necessary to remove dead skin cells from your face. I haven't noticed any damage or irritability while exfoliating my skin. I am very sensitive to the scent but this Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay has a very fresh and pleasant scent. I have a combination skin type. My T-zone is oily, and my cheeks are dry during the winter, but in summer they are a bit oilier, so I also use this gel for my cheeks.
WASH
I use Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay as a wash almost every day. It is strong and therefore I feel that those who have very sensitive skin should probably not use it more than once a day as it could otherwise be too rough for the skin. When you put it on your face you will feel the freshness and tingling. I gently put a small amount on my face and then wash it with lukewarm water. I really like that there isn't a white residue left on my face once I wash it off.
PILING
I apply Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay as a pilling as part of my nighttime skincare routine after I remove my makeup. I take all the makeup off my face with micellar water or micellar gel and then I do exfoliation with this product. Be sure that you do not get clay into your eyes. I gently rub it all over my face, especially on the areas that I usually have redness, pimples, or pigmentation.
MASK
As a mask, I use Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1 Clay only 2-3 times a week. I gently apply the product to all areas of my face and leave it there for around 5 minutes. You don't need a lot of product to cover the whole face. I love that this mask dries quickly. After washing the mask off, the skin feels clean, soft, and fresh.
OVERALL
Garnier PureActive 3in1 Clay is one of the best 3in1 skincare products I have tried! I love products that do what they claim they will. Generally, after using this gel, whether as a mask, pilling or just as a washing gel, I like to apply moisturizing cream.
The gel perfectly removes dry cells from the face, mattifies the skin, and what is more important helps fight blackheads. I have them mostly on my nose and chin so I try to focus on that area the most while cleaning my face. Another plus of this gel is the ingredients it contains - white clay, zinc, and salicylic acid. They are great for fighting acne, have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin, reduce irritation and redness.
